The Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation (PCMF) celebrated its 10th anniversary. It has benefited over 1 million people, through over 510 projects in 43 countries on water safety, swimming and sports. Greece has contributed to this success, by training 20,300 and raising awareness to another 119,000 people through various means, raising the Greek Lifesaving Sports Association (GLSA) to the 4th place of the most productive country of this alliance in some years. As part of its drowning prevention and lifesaving sport activities, the GLSA is proud for that outcome for this noble drowning prevention initiative.
The GLSA is the proud member of International Life Saving Federation, International Life Saving Federation of Europe, International Federation of Swimming Teachers’ Association, Mediterranean Lifesaving Confederation and ally of prestigious organizations (PCMF, Hellenic Olympians Association, Hellenic Olympic Winners Association, Hellenic Navy Seals Association, British Universities Lifesaving Clubs’ Association, Hellenic Swimming Federation).
